Hearst Castle, San Simeon Photo Picture tour. Hearst Castle Hotel's Picture Gallery # 1, Hearst Castle, San Simeon California.

I am lucky in the fact that I personally have a lot of history at Hearst Castle Sate Historical monument. I am one of the people that has had the good fortune of being able to roam the Castle and property at will and have among other things swam in the pool. My high school graduating class of 1968 is the only school class ever allowed to have graduation ceremonies on the hill top at Hearst Castle San, San Simeon.
My mother, Dorotha Smith was one of the early employees of Hearst State Historical Monument and worked over 20 years there as Head Ticket Cashier. I had the privilege of working in the gardens under one on Hearst's own Head Gardeners, Norman Rotanzi.
